SSR Performance ready for the ADAC GT Masters season finale

The reigning ADAC GT Masters champion SSR Performance is ready for the season finale. At the Nürburgring, Michael Ammermüller (GER) and Mathieu Jaminet (FRA) are going on the last hunt for points of the year.

Munich. The final races of the ADAC GT Masters season will take place this weekend at the iconic Nürburgring. As the reigning champion of the driver and team standings, SSR Performance is highly motivated to travel to the title fight. Currently in third place, Michael Ammermüller and Mathieu Jaminet in the Porsche #92 have to focus on chasing points. With a gap of 17 counts, everything is still open and the fans can look forward to an exciting battle.

In 2021, SSR Performance can rely on the support of Becker Carbon. For more than 20 years, the company has been a dynamic source of inspiration and an innovative trendsetter in the field of fiber composite production.

Championship will be decided at the Nürburgring

Michael Ammermüller (GER) and Mathieu Jaminet (FRA) make it exciting in the fight for the ADAC GT Masters title fight. With a third and an eighth place in the races at the Hockenheimring, the duo ended the weekend with valuable points.

Race 1

As usual, the field of drivers was very close together in the first qualifying of the weekend. Porsche factory driver Mathieu Jaminet secured the second row on the grid for Saturday’s race with the third fastest lap time in the Porsche 911 GT3 R. Things went according to plan until the safety car in the 41st minute. Then Michael Ammermüller had to defend his position and tried to close the gap to the runner-up. Finally, the duo celebrated the podium.

Michael Ammermüller maneuvered the starting number 92 into twelfth place in qualifying and thus into the same starting row as the championship leaders.

During the first half hour, the reigning champion managed to advance to the eighth position. Mathieu Jaminet finished the race on that place and got valuable points for the championship fight. There are 17 points between the Munich team and the current leaders.

The last ADAC GT Masters weekend will take place from November 5th to 7th at the iconic Nürburgring.

“On Sunday it was certainly not a dream result. We scored a total of 25 points and thus missed our goal a bit, but we are still going to the Nürburgring with confidence. “I’m not entirely satisfied with the weekend because we wanted to close the gap to the leader. The pace wasn’t quite there. We suffered damage in the Sunday race, otherwise we could have scored more points. Nevertheless, we are still in the fight for the title. In my opinion, we’re a little stronger at the Nürburgring. But luck has to be on our side.”

SSR Performance ready for the next round of the ADAC GT Masters title fight

Motivated by the victory at the Sachsenring, SSR Performance is heading to the Hockenheimring this weekend. Michael Ammermüller and Mathieu Jaminet are supposed to close the gap to the leaders in the ADAC GT Masters drivers’ championship.

Munich. After the victory at the Sachsenring, the cards were reshuffled in the battle for the ADAC GT Masters title in 2021. SSR Performance and the driver duo Michael Ammermüller and Mathieu Jaminet are ready for the final four rounds of the championship. Currently in third place in the drivers’ standings, only eleven points separate them from the top of the field. A victory was recorded at the Hockenheimring last year – this success shall now be repeated.

SSR Performance fought for points at the Lausitzring

Michael Ammermüller (GER) and Mathieu Jaminet (FRA) faced some challenges at Lausitzring. In the end, the team was credited with seven points.

Race 1

The strong field of drivers in the ADAC GT Masters was close together in qualifying at the Lausitzring. Michael Ammermüller drove the Porsche 911 GT3 R to the seventh starting position. It was already action packed on the second lap of the race. Contact with another Porsche led to a spin and the German had to line up at the back of the field to start catching up again. A drive-through penalty made this project even more difficult. Mathieu Jaminet took the wheel in 21st place and was able to make up a few positions when the red flag was waved. After the race resumed, the Porsche factory driver managed to move up to 13th and claimed three points for the championship.

Race 2

While the team had to be content with starting from the seventh row in the second qualifying, Mathieu Jaminet managed to move up to ninth place by the time the pit stop was on. Exciting duels should be rewarded with important points for the championship. Some expensive mistakes prevented the top 10. In the end, the SSR Performance Porsche crossed the finish line on twelfth place.

The fifth ADAC GT Masters weekend will take place from October 1st to 3rd at the Sachsenring.

“The weekend went pretty bad for us. We had a lot of bad luck in the race on Saturday, but luckily we scored a few more points. In the second race I made a mistake and lost a lot of time as a result. We have to analyze the weekend and get more pace. Hopefully that was our worst result. I am confident that everything is still possible.”

“It was a tough race weekend. Qualifying on Saturday was okay, but the race turned out to be difficult. Things went a lot better on Sunday, but we still lost positions. In the end we were unfortunately only able to score a few points and the competition is now ahead. We are the hunters now and will do our best.”

The mission to defend the title in the ADAC GT Masters is entering the next round at the Lausitzring. Currently leading in the team and driver standings, the opportunity to collect important points for the championship is there.

Munich. Back from the summer break, SSR Performance is highly motivated for the second half of the season. After the turbulent weekend in Zandvoort, the success of the first races should now be built on. The venue for the next ADAC GT Masters round is the demanding Lausitzring. Slow corners, bumps and a wall that shows no mercy characterize the track, on which two top 5 placements were recorded last year.

Currently leading in the team and driver standings, it is up to veteran Michael Ammermüller and factory driver Mathieu Jaminet to use this event of the international GT championship to defend their position.

For the first time since 2019, spectators will be allowed in the paddock at the Lausitzring from September 10 to 12.

SSR Performance with an unrewarded hunt for points

Michael Ammermüller (GER) and Mathieu Jaminet (FRA) were able to secure important points for the championship on Saturday. After an unlucky qualifying it was all about pushing in Sunday’s event. Mathieu Jaminet showed an incredible stint and caught up to seventh place until he got taken out of the race due to a collision with an opponent in the final lap.

Race 1

After Mathieu Jaminet set the best lap time during the first free practice, the goal was clear for Saturday’s qualifying. But due to three red flags in the timed practice and the resulted interruptions, there weren’t many opportunities to get the tyres up to temperature. The French Porsche factory driver had to be satisfied with the ninth starting position.

During the first race of the ADAC GT Masters in Zandvoort, important points for the championship were secured. The duo of the striking green Porsche with the number 92 crossed the finish line on the sixth place.

Race 2

Sunday’s qualifying session proofed to be another challenge for the Munich based team. Lots of traffic and a session interruption led to the 15th starting position for the reigning champion Michael Ammermüller in the Porsche 911 GT3 R.

While it wasn’t possible to overtake during the first half of the race, it was time to score in the final 35 minutes. Mathieu Jaminet used the undercut and took over on twelfth position. A thrilling chase led to the seventh position and important points for the championship. However, the maneuvers weren’t rewarded. The SSR Performance Porsche was taken out of the race due to a collision with an opponent on the final lap.

The fourth ADAC GT Masters weekend will take place August 6 until 8 at Nürburgring.

„Today our entire team showed an incredible performance. Especially having fought to P7 in the final lap was outstanding. Unfortunately, our efforts weren’t rewarded. But nevertheless, we are leaving Zandvoort leading the championship and will work hard to increase our gap at Nürburgring. It was a tough weekend but overall I’m very satisfied with the work of the team.”

„I think that the contact in the final lap was absolutely uneccessary. When you are not part of the championship fight, you don’t need to do something like that. We’ve put on a great show and that’s why it’s especially disappointing that we weren’t rewarded for it. We’ll come back stronger at the next race!”

„The race today was a real challenge. My stint wasn’t ideal and it was difficult to overtake. The second stint was the important one. Mathieu was able to attack and we showed a stronger performance than on the previous day. We could have gone home with important points and a seventh place, but unfortunately a collision with another car took us out of the race in the final lap. The initial result would have been really important for the championship fight.”

„Obviously, I’ve got mixed feelings about the weekend. With P6 and our performance on Saturday we can be quite happy. After the unsuccessful qualifying it could have been the perfect race today. We were on our way to finish on P7 and could have gotten nine points. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. So, it’s been a disappointing end to the weekend. But to look at the positive things: We’ve had a great performance of the car in the second race and we put up a good show. SSR Performance still on the road to success in the ADAC GT Masters

After four of 14 races, SSR Performance leads both the team and the driver standings in the ADAC GT Masters. In Zandvoort, the aim is to build on the success of the first two events.

Munich. The foundation for a successful ADAC GT Masters season has been laid. With two out of four race wins, Michael Ammermüller and Mathieu Jaminet are currently in first place in the drivers’ standings. The team performance was rewarded with important points, so that the SSR Performance team also took the lead in its category.

Stefan Schlund’s team is looking forward to the third stop of the International GT Championship in Zandvoort, well prepared and highly concentrated. The ADAC GT Masters will take place in the Netherlands from July 9th to 11th. The newly converted track has already been explored in a pre-season test, leaving SSR Performance well sorted for the weekend.

In 2021 SSR Performance can count on the support of Hochwald Sprudel. ADAC GT Masters Red Bull Ring: SSR Performance celebrates a sensational second win of the season

The SSR Performance driver duo Michael Ammermüller (GER) and Mathieu Jaminet (FRA) successfully defended the championship lead in Austria with a victory and the following sixth place.

– Victory in the first run at the Red Bull Ring

Race 1

After the foundation for a successful weekend had already been laid in the free practice sessions, the race started on Saturday from fourth position on the grid. Michael Ammermüller was able to work his way up until the pit stop and handed over the Porsche 911 GT3 R to Mathieu Jaminet in second place. The French took the lead with thrilling overtaking maneuvers. Shortly before the end of the race, a safety car phase made it exciting again. But here, too, Jaminet set himself apart from his competitors and finally crossed the finish line of the Red Bull Ring as an outstanding winner. The defending champions from Munich took the second race win of the season.

Race 2

In the Sunday race of the German GT Championship, which was characterized by numerous safety car phases and a race interruption at the beginning, SSR Performance was able to finish the run in sixth place. The result was particularly important for the team and driver standings, as this was how the championship lead was defended.

SSR Performance young talent Laurin Heinrich emerged as the shining winner of the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany competition on Sunday.

The third ADAC GT Masters weekend will take place from July 9th to 11th in Zandvoort, the Netherlands.

SSR Performance travels to Red Bull Ring as championship leader

After the successful season opener of the ADAC GT Masters in Oschersleben, SSR Performance will attack at the Red Bull Ring, Austria.

Munich. This weekend, the second event of the ADAC GT Masters at the Red Bull Ring is on the schedule for SSR Performance. After the successful start to the season in Oschersleben, Michael Ammermüller and Mathieu Jaminet travel to Austria as leaders in the drivers’ championship with 37 points. The reigning champion is also at the top of the field in the team category.

This position is to be built on from June 11th to 13th in Styria. For the first time, fans are again allowed on the 4,318 km long route. Even if only in smaller numbers, SSR Performance is happy about the support on site.

On the Monday after the event, the SSR Performance Trackday will also take place, where customers and partners can enjoy the race track themselves.

In 2021 SSR Performance can rely on the support of NIMEX GmbH. ADAC GT Masters Oschersleben: SSR performance with outstanding victory in Oschersleben

With a lead of more than 22 seconds, Michael Ammermüller (GER) and Mathieu Jaminet (FRA) secured victory in the second ADAC GT Masters race in Oschersleben. Together with the seventh place in the previous day’s race, SSR Performance collected important points for the championship.

Race 1

After SSR Performance was one of the favorites in the field with four top 3 placements in Thursday’s test, the hopes for qualifying were correspondingly high. But an interruption of the session thwarted the Munich team’s plans. Michael Ammermüller had to start the race from the seventh row on the grid.

SSR Performance was able to take advantage of the one-hour race and delivered an exciting race to catch up, which was ultimately rewarded with seventh place and valuable points for the championship.

Race 2

The second race of the ADAC GT Masters season was tough due to rain showers before the start. Mathieu Jaminet handed the car over to his teammate Michael Ammermüller, who was in second position, taking over the Porsche 911 GT3 R # 92 on slicks. Even though some positions had to be given up initially, the decision to switch to slicks and the team’s fault-free pit stop proved to be expedient. The reigning champion delivered one exciting overtaking maneuver after the other. In the end, he crossed the finish line of the race with a lead of more than 22 seconds as the winner.

The weekend in Oschersleben was also very positive for the young talent Laurin Heinrich. With a third and first place, he celebrated considerable success in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany. Congratulations!
