The history of SSR Performance starts in 2016 with a single car lift in a small, but fine work shop somewhere in Munich. Founded by a motorsport and car enthusiast, the exclusive car conversion company makes a name for itself in no time. To meet the ever rising demand of a satisfied clientele, soon the company moves to a bigger work shop, at that time having 320 square metres and two car lifts available.
In 2018 the work shop is extended and plans for a new building are put forward. Since spring 2020, a new Competence and Service Centre in Munich is operational, featuring 10,000 square metres of usable floor area, six floors, 13 car lifts, an air-conditioned 4WD dynamometer, a show room and a fully automated nitrogen filled storage space for exclusive cars.
We offer bespoke solutions to our demanding clientele under one roof. The racing activities of SSR PERFORMANCE GmbH are an integral part of our business. In this area as well, we want to be close to our potential customers, constantly proving our competence for high-performance cars.
SSR PERFORMANCE stands for “Stefan Schlund Racing” and his philosophy of getting the best possible performance out of a vehicle.
As owner and Managing Director, he can rely on a team of dedicated specialists and experts to develop, optimize and maintain individual vehicles for motorsports as well as sports cars and supercars for the road. SSR PERFORMANCE also specializes in the restoration of vintage and classic automobiles.
