Munich. In recent years, SSR Performance has relied on Porsche veteran Michael Ammermüller. Both the ADAC GT Masters driver and team titles in 2020 and the runner-up title in 2021 were celebrated together. The commitment will be continued this season with Huber Racing, in the “SSR Huber Racing Team”. Ammermüller starts in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and in the Porsche Carrera Cup Germany in SSR design.
The Munich team will also continue to support the Laurin Heinrich program. The rookie champion from last year is competing in the championships for the first time as a Porsche Junior.
Morris Schuring, Pro Champion in the Porsche Sprint Challenge Middle East, completes the Carrera Cup championship line-up.
Stefan Schlund, CEO of SSR Performance: “We look forward to working with Christoph Huber. I am convinced that in Michael Ammermüller and Laurin Heinrich we have two powerful drivers in our team. Both have already shown strong performances in the past. Of course, it would be great if we could compete in the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup and win some races with SSR Huber Racing.”
